BMW has always been one of the top car makers that have participated in some of the oldest rally events happening on the planet. The German car maker has now made an announcement that they will participate in the upcoming Allgau Orient Rally which is usually considered the oldest automotive adventure event in the world. The company said that this is a low budget rally event that also functions as a fundraiser for many other causes and therefore they are always glad to be in the rally. The company said that they will also participate and partner for the rally and this is the fourth time that they will become partner of Allgau Orient Rally.
However, BMW claims that this time they will also introduce MINI as the partner of the rally and therefore many MINI vehicles will participate in the rally for the first time ever. BMW Group said that in the past few rallies MINI Coopers have managed to touch the finish line and therefore they would like to introduce the same cars to this rally. BMW claims that MINI Coopers are designed to take over most of the road challenges and therefore they believe that they will have better chances to win the rally this time.
