LFA Supercar
Lexus is all set to head right back to the very famous and well known Nürburgring right in this May. The competition will be from its very strong brand of car –the LFA supercar.
In fact this is going to be the very first time when the LFA will be pitched in a competition against other cars from some of the best racing circuits from across the world.
Gazoo Racing is all set to be in complete charge of LFA racing in the game, guided by Hiromu Naruse. This team will also comprise of other four Japanse drivers as well as three German drivers who have a lot of experience.
Big names include Takayuki Kinoshita who is reputed for having won Super Taikyu Endurance Series and he has also finished higher (fifth overall) at the Nürburgring 24 Hours in comparison to any other Japanese driver. Akira Ida, the winner of the Tokachi 24 Hours in 1995 and 2007, and also Juichi Wakisaka and Kazuya Oshima who have won the Gt.
Of the German members, are Armin Hahne, who has won the Spa 24 Hours in 1982 and 1983; and also Jochen Krumbach, who came second overall in the 2008 Nürburgring 24 Hours; and Andre Lotterer, Super GT 500 champion in 2006 and 2008.
The Nurburgring 24 hour is slated to be held during May 13 to 16.
