Honda launched its third generation of the revolutionized Fit compact to the Japanese market on 6th September 2013. The new versions of the Honda Fit once again introduce some new levels of comfort, reliability, performance and economy. The hybrid version of the Fit gets power from a single-motor Sport Hybrid i-DCD hybrid system and has three driving modes EV drive, Hybrid drive and engine drive and the system automatically switch to a driving mode suitable to a particular condition. The fuel economy of this car is 36.4 km/L making it the highest of all vehicles running on Japanese roads. The Fit Hybrid is a 4WD model that is scheduled to release in December this year.
The new gasoline version of the Fit is powered by a 1.3 liter gasoline engine that is based on all new design to ensure a class leading fuel economy of 26.0 km/liter. For those enthusiasts who are in search of powerful, fun and exhilarating driving, Honda offered an all new 1.5 liter gasoline variant. The new Honda Fit and Fit hybrids retain the design of the original model but the models gets a redesigned interior, powertrains, fuel economy, body style, and driving dynamics.
