The popular luxury watchmaker, Bell & Ross has recently taken the stage of the Baselworld Watch and Jewelry Trade Event in Switzerland to unveil its first super car concept, Bell & Ross AeroGT. The move is actually a market stunt to create a buzz about its new line of watches called the BR 03 AeroGT series. So, do not expect the AeroGT to go into production any time soon.
The exterior design of the Bell & Ross AeroGT is inspired from aeronautics and grand touring, as it is evident from the name AeroGT. By looking at the overall design, I feel slight resemblance to the Rezvani beast, while the rear features dual exhaust tips that look very similar to the exhaust of a jetfighter.
The power to drive the AeroGT comes from a twin-turbocharged 4.2-liter V-8 that is capable to pump out 602 horsepower mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The output is channeled to the rear wheels to give it a 0 to 60 sprint in under 3 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 mph.
According to Bruno Belamich, creative director at Bell & Ross, they always seek an inspiration to bring new watches to the market and this unique concept was designed to hold its distinct position in the automotive market.
