What has 42 wheels, 19 Porsche engines and just one transmission? Well the 4219 Eli of course! When there was a random request from one fan on Jalopnik that someone please sketch a concept model of his nephews “dream car”. The requests were simple, give it 42 wheels, 19 engines and just one transmission. Simply of course. BMW caught wind of this and they made a promise that they would sketch up their own concept of it, as long as BMW enthusiasts made their best attempt at the same. When the sketches began to rain in, BMW took the time to throw together this:
This monster of a car looks like a giant BMW Sedan that could be on the set of Power Rangers or Transformers. Then again it did come from the large imagination of a young four year old boy. For those of us who have children, or recall our youth, we know very well how strong a child’s imagination can be at times. Instead of ignoring that, Eli’s uncle did the right thing and tried to make his nephew’s dream become pseudo real. Now he can print this image out and hang it on the wall for Eli to always have—maybe he can even bring it into class to show his classmates, and be the coolest kid ever.
Even though the 4219 Eli will never be for sale, due to its immense danger and explosive power, you can still find your dream BMW by going to your local BMW dealer like BMW Towson. Who knows though maybe when Eli is a grown adult and lands his dream job with the Bavarian automaker he can pull that far-fetched sketch from his wall, bring it in and make those 19 Porsche engines run off that single manual transmission. That would be something to imagine. Then again it is highly unlikely due to the shift that most automakers are making towards hybrid and more fuel efficient models—a 19 engine vehicle isn’t exactly fuel friendly.
