Driving a new Jeep Cherokee is like being in a science fiction movie; a good science fiction movie. The Cherokee is certainly a name from Jeep’s past but the new model is so far from anything they have made before that it makes you think that you are a hundred years in the future.
You’re driving through the desert and there are no other cars around, (or any living things that you know of), and you decide to go off the road and explore areas where no man or woman has gone before. So be it. You veer off the highway and suddenly you’re on another planet, or it feels and looks like that, anyway. A moment of fear overtakes you because you realize that you are all alone inside a futuristic vehicle and that’s all that stands between you and potential disaster. Then you realize you’re driving a Jeep. That changes everything and the fear vanishes and for some unknown reason, you hit the gas and your Cherokee breezes through the dirt and rocks as if they were soft green grass.
The point is that the name Jeep fills everyone with confidence. And the other point is that the Jeep Cherokee lives up to that reputation and CAN get you from point A to point B with ease. Jeeps are built for that kind of terrain and Cherokees are built to keep you more than comfortable while you’re passing through that kind of off-road environment. How will they build cars in the future? Probably as tough as nails and as comfy and safe as your living room. That’s sort of how Jeeps are built. They can pretty much handle anything you point them at and you will only feel really good about it. They are made to take the beating so you don’t have to.
The new Jeep Cherokee is selling very well and people are constantly talking about them. The ride is smooth and the four-wheeling capability is superb. The combination of rough and readiness matched with all the comforts of home is such a great idea. It’s also the stuff of science fiction movies, the kind where space explorers land on other planets. They are always comfortable in their planet rovers; they made sure of that before they left Earth. Jeep, of course is the real thing, but they plan for your comfort too, because you never know when you’ll be driving off-road or on another planet.
