Jaguar has just revealed the 2016 F-Type and it looks sportier and much more advanced than its German competitor Mercedes-Benz AMG coupe, featuring some new exterior and powertrain upgrades.
It is accessible in 2 powertrains, 3.0L V6 that generates 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque for the base model, while the F-Type R which is the highest trim carries a 5.0L V8 engine that produces 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque. The F-Type S and F-Type RWD can be paired with 6-speed manual transmission while the All-wheel drive can be mated to 8-speed automatic transmission.
Talking about the exterior design, it is extend in both coupe and convertible body styles featuring a rigid lightweight aluminum body kit that provides a perfect power to weight ratio offering excellent performance. The overall persona is exceedingly sporty and stylish featuring an elegant front bumper and dual exhaust at the back to give it a true sports car look.
On the inside, the F-Type is equipped with a 770-watt sound system by Meridian audio company. It also render Apple and Android compatibility allowing the driver to remotely roll down the windows and start/stop the vehicle.
The starting price of 2016 F-Type coupe with manual transmission system is $65,995, while the automatic variant is priced at $67,295.
