Ford has recorded an outstanding performance in the sales for this month and has clearly left its competitors at bay.The sales weren’t dramatically increased. But the good news is that in the market scenario where it fell by almost 27.7 percent, Ford has a fall of “just” 10.7 percent. Ford’s Fusion and Escape’s success are clearly proven in the sales figure sheet. No other car manufacturer has recorded this rise in sales comparatively.
The only carmaker of the US that didn’t file a bankruptcy is the Ford. This shows how strong the Ford marketing techniques and its loyalty in the market.
On June 1st, General Motors filed for Chapter 11 and has seen an immediate sales fall of 33.4 percent and even Chrysler that has filed a bankruptcy has seen a fall of 41.9 percent in sales. But surprisingly, the new Camaro outsold the Mustang.
Toyota and Honda have also recorded poor sales in this month. Nissan sales have dropped by 23.1 percent. This shows, even the import carmakers have made bad sales in this economy.
In total just 860,101 vehicles were sold in the month of June contributing to the fall of 27.7 percent. The only good news is this fall is the smallest in the past 9 months.
