Mazda certainly received good response for the earlier models of CX-3 compact crossover, but the automaker has decided to take it to next level with the all new 2016 Mazda CX-3 that will have new features in it. This will be the fifth model in the lineup and will feature full range of SkyActiv Technology and KODO – Soul of Motion design. While Mazda designers haven’t really changed the exterior styling drastically they have refined in many small ways. The automaker has also gone ahead and make the vehicle lighter to make it more fuel efficient.
The car will be available in diesel and petrol engines for better consumer options. The lineup will include SkyActiv-D 1.5 liter clean diesel engine and SkyActiv-G 2.0 liter gasoline engine option. Mazda has made certain changes to the powertrain to make the entire handling experience smoother for urban roads. It also features i-ActiveSense advanced safety features offer better safety and also incorporates Mazda Connect car connectivity system. The car will be available on display at the LA Auto Show this month and will be launched in Japan in the spring of 2015.
