2014 Genesis Coupe gets a host of upgrades and changes as it gets ready for 2014 SEMA show. There are cosmetic tweaks for the exteriors and interiors, changes in suspension and engine upgrades. The Chicago-based builder – Blood Type Racing knows how to get extreme performance from Korean vehicles. The car will debut at Hyundai’s SEMA news conference in November in Las Vegas.
The BTR Genesis Coupe gets Hyundai’s 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with new sleeves. The engine has been bored to give a bigger displacement and got new sleeves. The internal components get both strengthened and balanced with the extension of a high-boost Precision Turbo turbocharger. The Genesis Coupe sends more than 800 horsepower via six-speed manual transmission to the rear wheels. The customized body kit gives the car an aggressive look and an underground racing appearance.
