The New Nissan Leaf for 2010
The new Nissan is heading for the US market with a steady ecological upgrading done to it. It is being released to appeal to the greater markets of urban US. Conscious US citizens are only asking for zero emission cars and the nicely named and well timed product, Leaf, is being released throughout United States and Europe after their large sales market through Japan.
The pretty car is a new age conscious project that is coming with its 175 inches long measurement. It is about the similar size to a Versa sedan but it comes with an 80 kilowatt battery power. It is drawn by lithium-ion battery package. It comes with the kind of cellular battery that you would find in cell phones or lap top batteries. The Leaf would be expected to be driving through 100 miles with its quick and quirky charger.
Loans Approved for Ford, Nissan, Tesla for Electric Cars, Energy Department
Fuel-efficient cars are the need of the hour and the U.S Energy Department has realized this and is ready to grant a loan of $8 billion for Ford Focus, a five-seat electric Nissan and Tesla’s Model S sedan. This is the government’s main step towards the promotion of more fuel-efficient vehicles. The first announcement of these loans was made on Tuesday at the Ford research center at Dearborn.
Good news is that Ford will get the bulk of this loan and to be exact in number $5.9 billion will be given to Ford through 2011 and this amount will be used by the company to retool two plants to make cars. Ford has also announced that it will huge this money to produce battery-powered versions of Transit Connect vans.
