The Toyota Furia concept is already setting fire in the rumor mill. Toyota has yet to give its Corolla model a face lift. The company has been producing good performance cars, and even some great cars like the GT 86 and Lexus LFA; however the average consumer market cars of Toyota look plain and common. Even Toyota’s CEO stated that there need to be more “exciting” cars in the family of Toyota.
The Toyota Furia has a sedan concept, as the speculation is that it could be the succeeding model of Toyota Corolla. The car might carry a carbon fiber spoiler carbon fiber and an exhaust in trapezoidal shape with a diffuser. The front of the car concept looks appealing with a honeycomb grill with the headlamps separated wide apart. The top of all this is bordered by a chrome strip. The car could also be a compact version of Toyota Corolla, so as to carry an attractive price tag.
There are no further news from Toyota itself. Rumors suggest that the Toyota Furia could sport a rear wheel drive too. At the Detroit Auto Show in January, Toyota is set to unveil the new concept design of Furia and finally put a stop to all speculations. The teaser video of the Toyota Furia concept features sparks flying around while the surroundings are similar to that of the inside of a burning building. Now the main question lies whether Toyota could create fire works with their Toyota Furia concept?
