Finding a car for your family is such a tricky thing to do. You have to look at safety, reliability, versatility, space, and you still want to find something that will at least be a little bit fun for you to drive! One of the only cars that matches this description is the Toyota Verso. In design you can see that they are aiming for the Mini MPV market, and as you would expect there is fairly high seating positions for all the family and plenty of storage space on board. The great thing about the verso though, is that it has a superb engine, and it actually feels ok to drive! Some of these bus/car hybrids car feel a bit wallowy and lack feedback from the road, but the Verso genuinely feels and drives very much like a regular family car. Finding a Great Family Car

Finding a decent family car is something that I struggle with every few years. Fashions change in car ownership, and the quality of vehicles from one manufacturer to the next seems to change so quickly that it is almost impossible to keep up. Ten years ago from now I would have always bought a French car because I had preconceived ideas abut their comfort levels, but I have to say that after owning a Citroen Xsara Picasso for the last three years, that thought has left me! I always take advice from my brother in law when it comes to buying cars, and he said to me the other day that if I just make sure that I buy either German or Japanese engineered cars, I will be ok.
