Penske Employs Saturn to Sell Renault Samsung Models

One of the world’s richest entrepreneurs Robert Penske has plans to use the newly acquired dealership of Saturn to sell the vehicles manufactured by Renault and Nissan. Earlier the automobile mastermind made a wise decision in buying only the dealership of Saturn rather than buying its entire manufacturing business and surprised others in the business. Now he uses his brain to see more profit by selling vehicles that are manufactured by the Renault Samsung motors and those that are imported directly from South Korea.

According to news from Automobile magazines, there was an all important meet between Penske and the CEO of Renault and Nissan, Carlos Ghosn in Paris where important decisions we discussed regarding this plan. Penske’s move to sell Renault Samsung vehicles shows the confidence he has on the company.

Renault is a South Korean based automaker that owns 80.1% of Renault Samsung. This automobile company uses the platform of its counterpart Nissan in for its four passenger cars. The company’s SM3 is based on Nissan’s Bluebird and SM5 is based on Nissan’s Teana and QM5 is based on Nissan’s Rouge.

Having said about the plan of Penske, there are no clear sources whether the automobile experts is planning to sell the current Renault Samsung vehicles or he has plans to sell only the new Samsung models to come later this year. It is also worth mentioning here about the hiring of Tom LaSorda as consultant for Penske to win the Saturn bid.
