Nissan is going to commence production at Mississippi plant with 500 new jobs

The Nissan Motor Japanese automaker is going to commence the company’s manufacturing facility this fall in Canton, Mississippi. It commences Nissan’s goals of manufacturing 85 percent of its vehicles sold in North America in the United States. Nissan Motors plan to add 500 new jobs; they are making an investment for employment to swell to above 6000 workers at the Canton plant.

New Murano crossover

2015 all new Nissan Murano, which resets the parameter in the midsize crossover segments with a breakthrough design, purposeful technology and premium interior, will be the eight models assembled at Nissan Canton plant and first Murano manufactured in the united states. For Murano production, the plant will be the global source and for than 100 markets creating extra opportunities. The Murano will be brought together on the same line as Xterra, Titan, Frontier and Armada and is the most advanced vehicle technically ever built in Canton.

Preparations for the start of Murano production and recruiting efforts this fall are underway, and current employees are very happy to add this vehicle to the list of excellent trucks and cars built in the Mississippi.
