Ever ridden in a Jeep? Aren’t they fun? To some people, riding in a Jeep is like going to Disneyland – it’s fun and it’s an adventure all at the same time. It doesn’t really matter how old the Jeep is, the thrill is going to be pretty much the same. Although if you bring out the World War Tow Jeeps that might be a different story altogether. You might get a little too much fun and adventure riding in one of those.
The new Jeeps are full of fun and adventure and comfort and off-road capability. In other words, you can have your cake and eat it too with the new Jeeps. The Cherokee, for example, is one of those fabulously disguised off-roaders that looks like it was made for mall trips and date nights. It was actually. But it was also built for those rocky uphill roads and crossing shallow creeks and going to where you want whether it’s snowing or raining or whatever. The Cherokee obviously has two very distinct personas and is proud of it.
Most people have more than one personality but they will never admit it. Jeep on the other hand, sees the beauty and the usefulness in having two sides to one vehicle. Jeep owners have known about this since the 1940s but have pretty much kept it to themselves. We’ve been trying to figure out why but maybe it’s just as simple as they let their car speak for itself and they don’t see a need to talk about it. You never know.
The Cherokee is one of the most beautiful vehicles out there on the road today. At first glance a lot of folks don’t see it as a Jeep, instead they see a top of the line SUV. When they see the classic Jeep grille it’s all over. They smile to themselves as they realize the truth, that it is indeed an American legend – it’s a Jeep.
And that Jeep can do just about anything imaginable, from dropping kids off at school, going to the grocery store or a five-star restaurant to climbing steep and rugged hills without missing a beat. Jeeps do that, you know?
Next time you see a Jeep Cherokee on the road, remember what your first impression is. Did you think it was a German engineered hundred thousand dollar SUV or did you see the grille first and know straight away that it was an American
