Spy shots of the Mini Cooper Crossover have been taken from a recent spotting of this upcoming car in the deserts of CA. This car is about to be released with its psychedelic paint scheme all across its body. These photos however have been able to bring out the best of looks of this brand new car.

The two prototypes of this new edition are not the same however. One of these models is naturally aspirated and the other is turbocharged. The trailing Cooper Crossover is a typical Mini grille with slants that are horizontal. It also has a fog light at each corner of its body. The prototype of the pack looks incredible. It has a mesh grill and lower air intake with two inlets.

The Mini Crossover concept debuted at 2008 in the Motor Show in Paris. This new version is quite common with the standard Mini Coopers in design and structure but the body’s design stands out with the XL Clubman model.

There are extra pairs of doors that are quite akin to the usual Clubman models. The prototype features also have the rear lift gates as well as the swing style to the. All these make it an exceptionally coveted and beautiful model. It seethes with aura of the new generation.

The sale of the Chrysler to Fiat has been hindered by the Supreme Court stay. Earlier three Indiana state pension funds had filed a lawsuit in New York because they got 45$ million holding in Chrysler’s secured loans. This case went in the favor of Chrysler and they lost it in the high court.

Following this they have filed another lawsuit in the Supreme Court asking for holding the sales of Chrysler to Fiat.

Based on the lawsuit filed, the Supreme Court jury Ruth Bader Ginsburg has given a decision that the sale would be temporarily delayed until further order is issued. The Chryslers lawyers fear that this stay would affect the deal with Fiat that is scheduled to go under in a few days.

Thus its been tough times for Chryslers and the lawyers are trying hard to break this stay and complete the deal successfully

It is no wonder that a complete electric car that emits no carbon is indeed the need of the hour. The MINI E has finally come out and it is being delivered to 450 test drivers in NY and California.

One of the requirements of this electric car is you need a 220V electric service to charge this vehicle and to install this special wall for charging the car, the MINI sends a electrician when you buy the vehicle.

To avail this 220V electric charge, the local building codes have an requirement that the hardware that supports such high power must be approved by the Underwriters Laboratories and UL are taking their time to provide approval 220V charging cable.

With this approval pending, people who had bought the car are charging it using an 110V cable and this takes almost a day to charge up the car completely. This has made the car owners wait for a day to take their car out and MINI’s Spokeswoman Nathalie has said that the company is speaking with UL and the approval for these cables will be finalized by the end of july.
