Wayne Brannon, President and Managing Director of Chevrolet Europe said that the results have confirmed that both the cars have met the highest safety standards. He also added that Chevrolet Volt’s safety, performance and propulsion have been possible because of the outstanding design that is provided. Chevrolet Volt has already received excellent ratings from NHTSA and IIHS and this would be the third time that the car has received excellent five star ratings. Chevrolet Volt is the first American car that has received top five star ratings from Euro NCAP in all categories. The new Chevrolet Malibu is the eight generation Malibu and has been incorporated with highest safety features that are available.

Hot Wheels is inspired by the Custom Camaro that was available at the show and therefore they have decided to come up with Hot Wheels Camaro Concept toy model. This project will be a collaborative team work between General Motors Design studio in Michigan and Hot Wheels Design studio in California. Each studio will first make a sketch of their Custom Camaro and then they will exchange their sketches and ideas and visions until they reach a common goal of making the best Custom Camaro toy model.

Phil Zak,  GM Design Director said that Camaro has always remained one of the best toy models in Hot Wheels list since 1968 and many generations have grown up playing the same toy models and later grown up to drive the same car for real. However, it’s time that they make some changes to the new Chevrolet Camaro and make it more exciting for the next generation and for the studios as well.

He visualizes that by 2030, majority of the world’s population will be living in urban areas. The Chevrolet EN-V signifies a possible solution for these global customers living in surroundings that require alternative transportation solutions. Vehicles will need to be designed so as to tackle environmental issues like traffic congestion, safety concerns, parking issues and energy consumption.

The two-seat, electric urban mobility concept seems well prepared to meet the challenges of the future times. Supporting new features like storage space, climate control, it retains its old features like maneuverability, small footprint and autonomous driving capabilities.  It will offer the perfect solution for emission-free transportation in urban areas. Fueled by lithium-ion batteries, EN-V can run a minimum of 40 kilometers on a single charge which is good enough for most urban trips. A blend of connectivity and electrification, this new vehicle DNA could chip in demonstration exercises in megacities all over the world so as to test the real practicality.

It has been rolled out of the factory on May 28, from Bowling Green, Ky. it has taken a really long time to reach this milestone. In 1977 it produced 500000 units which is around 24 years after it started, then again 15 years to porudce 1 million in 1992 and another 17 years to reach 1.5 million mark milestone. And all the milestone cars come with the red interiors.

For some promotions the Chevrolet No. 1.5 million will be kept at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green.The museum also has Vettes No. 50000 and no. 1 million. The grand sport models are being sold out high because of this milestone.
