Seamless transition and better driving experience is something that BMW is aiming for and the company has done well with the much popular BMW iRemote App that won the CES Innovation Awards in the Software and Mobile Apps category in New York. The all new BMW iRemote App for the Samsung Gear S smartwatch has already gained much attention and appreciation from technology and car lovers. This new app is designed to offer BMW drivers better sense of connectivity and options that can make their driving experience better.

The main aim of the app was to develop direct access to important information in real time. The app displays all the information at a glance on smartwatch’s home screen allowing drivers to get all the information they want right on their wrist. The app shows information like electric range available, battery charge level and estimate charge time remaining. The app also informs the user of the vehicle status like whether any of the doors or windows are open. Using the Samsung Gear S smartwatch users can also get advance regulation of the onboard climate, so interiors can be conveniently preheated. The new iRemote App offers an extension to the users to make use of the features of their vehicle in a better way.
